What happens during the procedure for Dental Exams & Cleanings?
To begin the procedure, we will have our hygienist perform the dental cleaning. The hygienist will remove tartar using special tools as well as any stains on the teeth. The gums are checked for signs of gum disease so that we can offer treatment options. Once the cleaning is finished, the doctor will come in and perform the examination. The exam helps us to find cavities and other problem areas that could be detrimental to your dental health. We then create a treatment plan just for you and you’ll be ready to head home.
